To “International Forum Supporting the Korean People in their Just Struggle to Safeguard Sovereignty and Peace”
Dear friends,
Korea-Asia Pacific Exchange would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations on and gratitude for hosting the “International Forum Supporting the Korean People in their Just Struggle to Safeguard Sovereignty and Peace” under the joint auspices of the regional committees for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people in the month of Anti-US Joint Struggle-June 25th to July 27th– thanks to the deep interest and full response of the world progressive peoples.
The international events have been held every year to make known the world-historic significance of the Korean people’s victory in the Fatherland Liberation War which was achieved over seven decades ago and to support our people in their just cause. However, the ongoing international forum bears the more special significance since it is open while the aggressive war drills are being exercised far above the dangerous level by the US and its allies, thus threatening the peace and security of the Korean peninsula and the region.
The DPRK and the KPA which were only 2 years old won a brilliant victory in the Fatherland Liberation War which can be summarized as the face-off between rifles and atomic bombs and, moreover in the following years, they continue to emerge victorious in the face of the grave situation that the hostile forces perseveringly cling to the war provocations and seek to stifle and isolate the DPRK. It is all attributable to the leadership of the outstanding leaders and the heroic struggle of the Korean people. Meanwhile, the unfailing support and encouragement of the world progressive peoples have also played a part in it as a great contribution and inspiration.
We remain confident that the ongoing International Forum will turn out to be a success that serves as an important occasion to highly praise the great leaders Comrade Kim Il Sung, Comrade Kim Jong Il and Comrade Kim Jong Un, president of State Affairs of the DPRK for their achievements in having turned the DPRK into the bulwark of anti-imperialism and independence and a mighty socialist power and firmly defending the peace and security on the Korean peninsula and those of the world. It will also serve as an opportunity to educate the international community with the right understanding of the main cause of escalating the situation and the genuine guarantee for safeguarding peace on the Korean peninsula.
