The United States and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea

As we are confronted today with a continuing escalation in the world under the auspices of the secret societies and big corporations which are allowed to flourish in those United States of America, we continue to forget that the volatile and touch-and-go situation in and around Korean peninsula, as challenging and as tumultuous as existed since the Ceasefire Agreement for the Korean War.

Both President Kim Il Sung and Syngman Rhee pushed the Korean Peninsula onto different paths with different allies, yet the overwhelming financial support of the R.O.K. by the United States has continued to remain as the dominant factor on the Peninsula. Additionally, although force of arms by China tipped the military situation at the latter part of the War, it has been the continual exercise and betrayal of promises by the United States which has chiefly prevented the reunification of the Korean people under one flag and under one territorial sphere.

The image I have presented is not one of distant memory but a symbol of the most recent meeting between United States President Donald Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un from their times at the Port of Singapore and in Hanoi. The similarity of movements towards positive relations mark a defining point in which the United States could have publicly moved towards an official end to the tyranny in Korea. This could have marked an end to a division in which brother is set against brother. This could have marked an end to the threat of nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula. The capabilities are there but why was it not shown?

The biggest enemy of the United States’ democratic system seems to be the participants themselves. In no way has there been a major account as to the pointless waste of life that the Korean War brought. There has been a complete ignorance of the Americans as to where Korea is on a map. How can the preeminent power in the world, the United States continue to exist if it threatens the existence of another country to which most of its citizens do not understand and even do not care to understand. This seems to be the method in which continued problems exist.

The United States spends a great deal of money training the R.O.K. military men. The United States has spent more than 11 trillion of its own dollars on the R.O.K. economy. The R.O.K. spy agency is titled KCIA which is eerily similar to that of the CIA. All of these things shown the mentality of a nation which has dementia. The Latin meaning of dementia means someone who is out of their mind.

This is no more than a simple example since the D.P.R.K. has witnessed no progress despite all kinds of practical steps. Given the fact that the R.O.K. defined the D.P.R.K. as the, “principal enemy,” in addition to seeking only the opportunity of a, “collapse of power [and] unification by absorption,” the north-south relations has reached a critical impasse.

The D.P.R.K. looks to have a coming rosy future in regards to the United States since the United States is tearing itself apart. The divisions in society are very great indeed and as the United States monopoly men go to China and leave the territory of America, poverty shall ever increase. The D.P.R.K. is dealing with a country that has a $34 trillion dollar debt with an economy that can not even cover three quarters of this debt. The United States is bankrupt and stifled with internal discord. The disconnect between politicians and people, between the rich and the poor is unheard of now in the United States. A country which never had class or wealth distinction is now riddled with it.

The fact of the decline of the U.S. is a tragedy. Why is it an especial tragedy as every decline of a country is a sad moment? Because the situation could have been different. The United States could have stuck to deals that it had with the D.P.R.K., especially in the realm of nuclear energy, before jettisoning them. It did not have to impose sanctions on the country in addition to sanctioning dialogue. It did not need to include it in the Axis of Evil when it could have diplomatically resolved the Korean War.
