The All India Anti-imperialist Forum congratulates the organizers of the “International Forum in Support of the Just Struggle of the Korean People for Safeguarding of Sovereignty and Peace”. This meeting is held at a time when imperialist USA and its lackeys are on the rampage, waging wars in different countries and imposing sanctions against those countries who dare to oppose imperialist hegemony.
At the end of the Second World War Korea was liberated through the heroic struggle of the Korean people under the leadership of Respected President Kim Il Sung
Comrade Kim Il Sung was the architect of the Korean revolution, liberating Korea from the Japanese occupation; he founded the working class state of DPRK and defeated the American aggressors when they attacked the newly established state. President Kim Il Sung united the people of DPRK and defended DPRK against all imperialist conspiracies and attacks
At the time of global crisis of socialism when counter-revolution overthrew socialism in USSR and the East European countries, Comrade Kim Il Sung resolutely fought against the imperialist machinations and defended the working class state of DPRK. This is an inspiration to all the struggling people of the world. Throughout his life he fought against the imperialist maneuvers
The Korean people under the leadership of Chairman Marshall Kim Jong Un and the Workers Party of Korea are engaged in a determined struggle to safeguard their national sovereignty and peace. DPRK is passing through a time of great provocation and threat of aggression by imperialist USA and the reactionary regime of ROK. US imperialism, using the UN as a rubber stamp, has imposed a most unjust, inhuman and brutal blockade. Ever since the launching of a satellite for peaceful purposes by DPRK, the imperialist powers led by USA have been threatening DPRK by imposing even stronger economic sanctions and warning it of military attacks in future. USA and ROK staged joint military exercises named “Key Resolve” and “Foal Eagle 16”. This was a huge mobilization of troops with numerous warships and attack planes targeted against DPRK. For over 70 years USA’s policy has been to encircle DPRK militarily and to strangle it economically, and all the time threatening it with armed invasion, even nuclear attack
It is not DPRK which has launched military attacks on other countries, nor has it established foreign military bases; it is USA and other imperialist powers that are guilty of such despicable practices. USA is the only country to have used nuclear weapons against another country. All peace-loving people of the world denounce this heinous conspiracy of USA, the other imperialist powers and their stooge ROK to overthrow the Government of the Workers Party of Korea and destroy the socialist system of DPRK
In 2006 DPRK carried out a nuclear test for self-defense; prior to the test it duly informed the world about this imminent step to enhance her defense and conducted the operation in such a manner as to ensure no radioactive fallout. DPRK has emphasized time and again that it would never use nuclear weapons first and would “do the utmost to realize denuclearization of the peninsula and give impetus to the world-wide nuclear disarmament and the ultimate elimination of nuclear weapons
In spite of DPRK’s assurances and call for peace, USA responded by heightened belligerence, further military drills and getting the UN to rubberstamp the imposition of more stringent economic and military sanctions, even threatening the use of military force unless DPRK stops the tests But DPRK has not succumbed to the imperialist aggressors and is challenging the US imperialism and its cohorts. The toiling people of the world firmly hold the view that it is an inalienable right of DPRK as a sovereign state to take up any measure to defend itself from imperialist attack and to advance its technological capability
All through the years the Workers Party of Korea safeguarded socialism and advanced the revolution and socialist construction in DPRK. It has unwaveringly stood by the struggles of the oppressed people of the world against imperialism, thereby serving the global anti-imperialist cause and safeguarding peace and security of the world. Korean people are firm in their pledge to stand united like a solid rock and resist the imperialist aggressors
We are confident that under the leadership of Chairman Marshall Comrade Kim Jong Un, the Korean people and the Korean army, will smash the imperialist conspiracies, drive the imperialists out of the Korean peninsula and bring about the peace of the Korean people
The All India Anti-imperialist Forum, along with all freedom loving people of the world stand in solidarity with the brave people of Korea and wish success to their struggle for peace and just world order under the leadership of the Workers Party of Korea, and their Leader Chairman Marshall Comrade Kim Jong Un
