The Korea-Slovenian Friendship Association supports peaceful coexistence exercises on the Korean Peninsula

It gives me great pleasure to be able to share some thoughts with you in these complicated times, when each of us must contribute to the peaceful ending of all conflicts in the world, and to prevent new ones from starting

In Slovenia Korea Friendship Association, we have always supported all efforts leading to peaceful coexistence on the Korean Peninsula, and as you know, we have never supported any violent solutions, as they only bring destruction and sorrow, which we have learned not only from the Korean War, but also from all other wars in the world. We strongly believe in the wisdom of Koreans that you will find a way to realize the dreams of every Korean without loss of a single human life and without destruction

I know that now it may be more difficult than before, and that is why it is important to make every effort to reach the goal in a peaceful way. We are certainly aware that the current situation of a divided Korea seems acceptable to the “great powers” and therefore it is of the utmost importance that Koreans find a way forward without interference from “the outside”, especially not the “great powers

This is precisely why we are not close to the strategy of the USA, which justifies its actions in front of the public with the worn-out mantra that it is fighting for democracy around the world, but in essence it is expanding its economic and military influence. At the same time, I always remember the Crusaders who plundered many countries in the name of Christianity. Obviously, the methods change, but the excuses for achieving the goals remain pretty much the same for centuries

It is precisely for this reason that, in closing, allow me to express my faith once again in the wisdom of the Korean people, who will realize the nearly century-old dream of reunification and living in peace and harmony without the interference of the “great powers
