Progressive peoples of the world who aspire after justice and peace

In the international arena, a fierce confrontation is now taking place between the imperialist forces seeking for hegemony and domination as one part and the independent anti-imperialist forces demanding a fair international order based on respect for sovereignty, non-interference in internal affairs, equality and mutual benefit as other part. The imperialist reactionary forces faced their doom are resorting to illegal double standards and heinous violation of sovereignty in order to maintain their domination, resulting wanton violation of peace and stability of the world

The present situation requires all the progressive peoples of the world to courageously turn out as one in the struggle to smash the high-handed and arbitrary practices of the imperialist reactionary forces, defend their sovereignty and realize global peace and justice

Proceeding from this requirement and mission of the times, we held an on-line forum titled “International Forum in support of the Just Struggle of the Korean People for Safeguarding of Sovereignty and Peace” on the occasion of June 25-July 27 Anti-US Joint Struggle Month. Affirming that the Korean people’s struggle to safeguard the sovereign rights and legitimate interests are justice and truth, and fully understanding that the providing peace on the Korean peninsula is directly related with the peace and security of the world, we appeal to the world progressive peoples as follows

1. Let us conduct active international activities to expose and denounce crimes committed by the U.S. against humanity unprecedented in history after igniting the Korean War.

The U.S. is a chieftain of aggression and mastermind of atrocities that provoked the Korean War and mobilized even troops of its satellite countries for the purpose of realizing its world domination and forced indelible misfortunes to the Korean people. Let us launch a powerful campaign to lay it bare before the whole world that the U.S. is the provoker of the Korean War, the main wrecker of peace and stability in the region and the world

Let us raise our voices denouncing the U.S. for massacring innocent civilians in different parts during the Korean War, conducting indiscriminate bombing over residential areas and committing all sorts of horrible massacres by mobilizing even chemical and germ weapons

Let us further raise the international pressure calling for apology and punishment after branding the U.S. atrocities as crimes

Let us conduct activities to unveil the identity of the U.S. which distort the truth behind the war and deny historical facts, far from drawing a lesson from the defeat in the Korean War

2. Let us wage the more dynamic struggle to check and thwart the vicious anti-DPRK moves of the U.S. and its vassal forces extremely aggravating situation on the Korean peninsula

Even at this moment, the US-led hostile forces are openly revealing their attempt to stamp out the sovereignty of the DPRK and staging all sorts of aggressive war drills than ever before and escalating military tension on the Korean peninsula to extremes

Let’s launch a protest action demanding an all-out halt to the dangerous military demonstrations of the U.S. and its vassal forces driving the security environment of the DPRK and the surrounding regional situation into an unpredictable situation

Let us raise the international pressure demanding the dissolution of the illegal following-US “UN Command” and the US-led aggressive military alliances

Let us vigorously conduct various forms of activities including writing and signature campaign, rallies and demonstrations on a worldwide scale demanding the withdrawl of the US hostile policy towards the DPRK

Let us disclose the injustice of the UN “resolutions” infringing upon the DPRK’s right to independence and conduct positive activities to reject them

3. Let us render full support to the just self-defensive measures of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea for defusing the danger of a new war on the Korean peninsula and defending peace in the region and the rest of the world

The U.S. and its vassal forces are trying to deceive the world public opinion with sophism that the just self-defensive measures taken by the DPRK to cope with its grave military provocations are serious challenges to international peace and security

Let the international community have a correct understanding of the situation on the Korean peninsula and conduct activities in different parts of the world to expose and denounce the US deception to distort the truth

Let us introduce to the world people the validity of the DPRK’s exercises of its sovereign rights to contain the U.S. military moves and all sorts of provocations and thus boost the international atmosphere of support for the Korean struggle for defending sovereignty and peace

Let us further raise the voices supporting the just self-defensive measures of the DPRK by Internet and mass media

Let us conduct brisk solidarity activities among countries and regions to oppose and reject all attempts of the hostile forces to deny sovereign rights of the DPRK

4. Let the world progressive people join in the struggle of the Korean people for defending the sovereignty and peace of the country by concerted efforts

The solidarity movement in support of the just struggle of the Korean people for defending their sovereignty and peace is closely linked with the anti-imperialist independence struggle on an international scale and demands the united strength of all peace-loving forces of the world

Let us intensify the anti-imperialist joint action and joint struggle in support of the Korean people’s struggle for national sovereignty and territorial integrity, transcending differences in ideology and system

Let us frustrate the moves of the U.S. to fabricate military alliance which is clinging to hegemony while aggravating the situation in the Asia-Pacific region. Let us expand the ranks of the international solidarity movement supporting the just cause of the Korean people

Let all progressive organizations and personages of the world strengthen solidarity and cooperation in international arena denouncing the aggressive war moves and acts of violating sovereign rights by U.S. and other imperialist and dominating forces

The Korean people will surely emerge victorious in their struggle to defend the sovereignty and security of the country and global peace and build a dignified and prosperous power under the wise leadership of the respected leader His Excellency Kim Jong Un.

Many friends of the world aspiring after independence and loving justice and peace stand in side of the Korean people

We are convinced that all the progressive people of the world will extend full support to and solidarity with the Korean people in their just cause for building of a new free and prosperous world and for the sake of the eternal happiness of mankind
